Relationship with other databases
Purchasers will use FPI for global pre-qualification of
international contractors and suppliers.
Purchasers may also require FPI Contractors and Suppliers to
participate in local databases in the First Point / Achilles network (such as
FPAL in the UK and
Achilles JQS in Norway) as a result of local practices and rules such
as EC Utilities Directives, or local content rules in developing countries.
Where this is the case, First Point can assist with data
migrations to minimise any duplication between records. FPI Visible Assessments
will replace current FPAL
Capability Profiles once the new system is established (estimated to be late
2005).
